From my very first foundation, I will say I've bought several up until now. I love trying new types since my skin is a oily/combination skin type. From Maybelline to Estee Lauder, I will suggest to you what type of foundation is ideal if you have the same skin problem as me. I have the following:
- Oily (During Spring/Summer)
- Dry (Fall/Winter)
First and foremost, my favorite holy grail foundation is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place. It glides nicely onto your face and will not make you feel cakey during the Summer. I am the shade 3W1 Tawny and in the summer I do like to use the shade 3W2 Cashew. If you like to mix foundation shades to get the perfect color, the liquid consistency of this will work smoothly.
Secondly, MAC cosmetics is the next in line to be my constant foundation I use. The Studio Fix Liquid foundation (Shade NC38), works really well in hiding my fine lines and providing a full coverage look. I use the 24 Hour Smooth concealer in the same shade to have a natural look.
Lastly, When I want to use a foundation that can act as my tinted moisturizer, Ulta's very own Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 is the one to use. In the summer, I would normally go with a dark shade, but now in the spring time I like to customize my shade with a lighter one to get the shade I want. It gives a dewy look in which you can dap a bit of powder to matte your skin.
